It’s a meeting without food. Meetings are the cornerstone to any business, but that doesn’t mean they have to be held in person. The key is having a clear agenda and goal for the meeting before it starts. If you didn’t do that then email might be better than making everyone come into work or travel somewhere else to meet face-to-face ,when all they need is an update on what’s going on with their projects.

All meetings should start off by getting participants on the same page about what will happen during this time together so no one wastes anyone’s valuable time by not knowing why we’re there or expecting something different from each other based on assumptions alone. Meeting agendas can help set expectations while providing.
